Notwithstanding any other terms herein, the legal relation of insurance between Party A and Party B and that of export trade financing between Party A and Party C shall be mutually independent. Party B and Party C shall independently enjoy the rights and obligations specified in the contracts concluded respectively by them with Party A. Whether Party A purchases a short-term export credit insurance from Party B shall not constitute a sufficient condition for Party A’s obtaining any loan or finance in other forms from Party C; whether Party A can obtain any loan or finance in other forms from Party C shall not constitute a necessary or sufficient condition for Party B’s acceptance of Party A’s such purchase. Party B and Party C shall make independent judgments and decisions on Party A’s insurance purchase application as well as any application of loan or finance in other forms according to their own regulations.

Chapter 1 Basics of Test and Role of HDLs
As the first chapter of a book on digital system test, this chapter tries to cover some of the basics. Also, as the first chapter of a book that emphasizes the use of HDLs in test, we try to cover HDL-based design flow and discuss how various test applications fit in this process, and we show various places where HDLs can help the test process of digital systems. In this chapter we try to answer some of the important questions about digital system testing. The primary questions that need to be answered are what it is that we are testing in digital system test, and why we are testing it. The answer to these questions are: A manufactured chip or device, which will be elaborated in the sections that follows, and we are testing the device for physical defects. Other questions that remain to be answered are regarding the methods that we use for testing, ways of making a chip or a manufactured device more testable, how HDLs can help the test process, and finally what constraints we have in digital system testing.
After this chapter, it will be easy to justify why we dedicate at least three chapters to test methods, three chapters to making circuits testable, and in all the chapters we continuously talk about reducing test data volume and test time. Furthermore, the use of HDLs in the chapters of this book is justified by the HDL discussions of this chapter.

Tight sandstone gas was first detected in the San Juan Basin of the United States in 1927 and first exploited in early 1950s when it was known as hidden gas reservoir[1-2]. Such tight gas is widely distributed in foreign regions represented by the Denver Basin, San Juan Basin, Alberta Basin, Appalachian Basin and other basins in North America. In China, its huge reserves are predicted to reach 17~23.9×1012 m³, which indicates a promising exploration prospect; it is mainly distributed in three major basins—the Ordos Basin[3-4], Sichuan Basin and Tarim Basin—which are all important areas for unconventional boost in reserves and production[1-2,7-10]. Tight sandstone gas is generally considered to be sandstone gas reserve with an in-situ matrix permeability ≤0.1mD[1,2,11]. The characteristic low porosity and low permeability of such reserve lead to single tight-gas well having a natural productivity being either zero or lower than the lower limit of commercial gas flow; compared with conventional gas, tight gas is significantly different in terms of flow, characterized by low flow velocity and mainly consisting of non-Darcy flow[1,2,12-25].

Liver cancer is one of the common malignant tumors with high incidence and lethality rate. Due to absence of effective early diagnosis methods, the mortality rate is almost near the incidence (the survival rate of patients with liver cancer is between 3% and 5% in America and the developing countries according to literature) . Surgery has long been considered the preferred method for liver cancer treatment, but only 10% to 15% of the patients who are diagnosed accurately with liver cancer are possibly be cured through surgery, the remaining majority is just too late for surgery . With the development of medical technology, various non-surgery measures are playing an increasingly important role in cross-discipline treatment of liver cancer. The radioactive nuclide therapy, especially radioactive 125I and 103Pd interstitial brachytherapy which has shown an encouraging therapeutic effect, is an early, extensively adopted and rapid-progressing way to treat malignant tumors. The northern portion of Sichuan desertified zone comprises complete mountains and plains surrounded by high mountains at around an altitude of 4000m, having the same type of landform as the area adjacent to Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai. The portion takes on a high-south low-north relief, being a lake-basin hollow roughly centering around Tangke at the Yellow River bight, the altitude reaching 3500m or so; there Quaternary unconsolidated deposits are extensively distributed with many swamps, lakes and hollows. The Serxu-Sêrtar region to the northwest has a gentle mountain relief and broad plain rivers. The central Garzê-Litang region is the highest plateau in the province where the altitude mostly reaches above 4000m with a rising relief, round mountain top and relatively complete plateau surface. Abstract: Thanks to its advantages in energy density, power density and cycle life and other aspects, lithium ion battery has gradually become the major energy source of electric vehicles. In order to adapt to the wide varying range of vehicle’s application environment temperature and resolve the inconsistent internal temperature issue of power battery pack, this paper builds a thermal characteristic model of cylindrical lithium ion battery according to the finite element method as well as the physical structure and chemical reaction process of lithium ion battery, and also determines its initial conditions and boundary conditions of this model as well as the thermal characteristic parameters of various battery components using either experiments or numerical computation method. Moreover, the battery discharge experiments under different ambient temperatures and amplification factors as well as the finite element model simulation under identical conditions are also performed, which indicate that the relative error between the simulation result and the experiment one is 10% or so, and verify that the fitting between the simulation and the experiments is quite good, and also prove that the modeling method can be effectively applied to the thermal characteristic simulation of cylindrical lithium ion battery.

Due to its severe malignance, high metastasis rate and high fatality rate, triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) has seized much attention and in recent years become the focus of both fundamental and clinical breast cancer researches. The dedicated studies on the molecular biological and clinical pathological characteristics of TNBC will be critical for improving molecular diagnosis and prognosis, seeking new treatment targets and changing clinical treatment strategies. Our early-stage experiments revealed that there was a special cell subset in the cell line from clinical TNBC. This cell mass had some stem cell properties such as small volume, low cell differentiation, slow proliferation, good self-renewing capacity as well as symmetrical and asymmetrical division ability. The present research will focus on discussion of the relevance between the distribution&ratio of low differentiated/ undifferentiated small-cell cancer cells in pathological samples of TNBC and the clinical diagnosis &prognosis. We’ll also investigate the stem cell properties of this cell mass from the perspective of molecular biology, and identify its gene and miRNA maps by application of gene and miRNA chip technologies in order to obtain the marker of clinical diagnosis and prognosis. This research, one that transforms from fundamental study to clinical study, is intended to provide the most convincing clinical evidences for the hypothesis holding that cancer stem cell is carcinogenic, and a new lead-in mechanism for drawing up effective treatment plans to break through the choke point of treatment.

Due to the small sample size, the incidence of animals having matrix necrosis and the size of necrotic areas were compared using one-tailed Fisher’s exact test and Mann-Whitney tests, respectively. Dynamic bone formation parameters were compared among the vehicle and the two alendronate doses using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Fishers protected least significant difference post-hoc tests. As none of the variables of interest were significantly different between the two doses of alendronate, additional comparisons were performed between vehicle and pooled alendronate doses. For all analyses, significance was determined using the criteria of p < 0.05. Data are presented as mean ± standard errors.

SEARCH STRATEGY: Randomized trials from MEDLINE were identified by means of MeSH and text words ‘high frequency ventilation’, ‘high frequency jet ventilation’, ‘jet ventilation’ from the years 1980 to 1997. The EMBASE database, the Oxford Database of Perinatal Trials, the Neonatal Trials Register of the Neonatal Review Group of the Cochrane Collaboration and the Cochrane library were also accessed. Proceedings of recent SPR/APS meetings were hand searched.Information was obtained from experts in the field, and cross references were checked.
MAIN RESULTS: Overall analysis of the three trials showed that HFJV is associated with a reduction in CLD at 36 weeks postmenstrual age in survivors [RR 0.58 (0.34, 0. 98), RD -0.138 (-0.268, -0.007), NNT 7 (4, 90)]. The use of home oxygen therapy was evaluated in only one study (Keszler 1997) and a lower rate was found in the HFJV group [RR 0.24 (0.07, 0.79), RD -0. 176 (-0.306, -0.047), NNT 5 (3, 21)]. Overall there was a trend towards an increase in the risk of PVL in the HFJV group, which was not significant. Subgroup analyses shows a significant increase in risk of PVL in the trial by Wiswell 1996 [RR 5.0 (1.19, 21.04), RD 0.250 (0.069, 0.431), NNH 4.0 (2.3,14.5)] where a ‘low volume strategy’ was the standard protocol for HFJV. In the other trial by Keszler 1997, where the intention was to use a ‘high volume strategy’, there was no significant difference in the incidence of PVL, RR 0.42 (0.14, 1.30). In the overall analysis, there were no significant differences in the incidence of neonatal mortality, IVH all grades or in grades 3 or 4 IVH. In the subgroup where ‘low volume strategy’ was used there was a non-significant trend toward an increase in risk of IVH all grades and grades 3 or 4 IVH.

Pesquera Diamante is one of the global leading fishing companies. At the forefront of the fishing sector, the Company is among the fifth largest fish meal and fish oil producers in the world and is the third1 largest fishing Company in Peru, processing close to 14% and 17% of Peru’s total anchovy and jack mackerel catch, respectively. Design characteristics: an adequately detailed description of product’s structure and functions shall be provided in order to understand the catheter’s property and operation, so shall drawings (such as photos/detail drawings) and samples (if necessary). All functions (such as temperature measurement, impedance, pressure measurement, magnetic navigation, and saline infusion), working principle and route, technical indicators and quality control shall be described in an adequately detailed way. The names of components shall be indicated in product drawing; the complete information about all materials (including coating) comprising each component shall at least include the following items: the accurate trivial name and chemical name of each material; structural formula (for organic polymer material); metal name, composition and grade (for metallic material); structural formula and crystallization status (for inorganic material). The invention relates to a black silicon fabrication method, in particular to one by using plasma immersion ion implantation.
Black silicon is a revolutionarily new material structure of the electronic industry, usually referring to silicon face or silicon-based film with a high absorptivity. Compared with the structures of common silicon materials, it has a fairly strong light absorption property. If it is applied to optical sensors or solar cells, then their photosensitivity would be 100 times better and therefore the conversion efficiency of solar cells can be improved significantly.
The fabrication of black silicon began with the experiment done by Professor Eric Mazur at Havard University in 1999, during which he and his graduate students put silicon wafers in a vacuum environment filled up with halogen gas, and then scanned them using an ultra-intense and ultra-short-time laser beam (femtosecond laser). The surfaces of the scanned silicon wafers turned black, but not that caused by scorch. The researchers looked through the electronic microscope and observed that a forest-like peg structure was formed on such wafer surface, which facilitated reduction of ray reflection and improvement of light absorption property.

Structure of chain CVT
A chain CVT mainly consists of chain, two pairs of driving and driven conical discs as well as driving and driven axles. The two pairs of driving and driven conical discs are respectively mounted on the driving and driven axles, with one disc of each pair being axially fixed and the other axially movable. The conical surface of conical disc is in contact with the end of chain pin to form the contact pressure which generates the circumferential friction by which the rotary motions and kinetic moments of the driving axle and conical pulley are transferred to the driven conical pulley and axle via the chain. The hydraulic tank is controlled by the control system to continuously drive the movable conical discs to axially move to continuously change the turning radius of the contact point between two pairs of driving and driven conical discs and the chain, consequently achieving the continuous variable-speed rotation of the driven axle in the case of the driving axle being at unchanged rotating speed.

The base course for the carriageway shall consist of approved rock laterite as specified laid to the required total thickness after compaction. The lumps of rock laterite shall be tightly wedged across the prepared formation and interstices shall be filled with approved spalls from the same source as the rock before thoroughly rolling. Rolling shall be carried out with a roller weighting not less than 60kg per cm. width for roll and any depression or surface irregularity which occurs during rolling shall be collected with approved crushed quarry fines as specified, watered and again rolled with a roller weighing not less than 60kg per cm. width of roll. No blinding shall be done until the rock laterite bottoming has been inspected and approved by the engineer’s representative. When completed the surface of the base course shall be smooth and even, free from irregularities or loose material as shown on the drawings.
If any clay or mud works to the surface of the foundation the contractor shall without additional charge dig out the affected areas of such depth as directed and make good the foundation and finish in conformity with the adjacent surface.
Preparation of Base Course to Receive Bitumen Prime Coat
Immediately before spraying of the time coat, the surface of the base course shall be swept clean, and all loose dust, dirt and the like removed. The engineer’s representative may also direct that any very smooth surface to which the surfacing is unlikely to adhere, be roughened with wire brushes or other approved means.
If any weak areas are found they shall be cut out refilled with base course material and rolled to correct cross-section and gradients.
